Good News
Finally today I was informed today that I will be teaching 5th grade. I was very excited to hear that I will not have to leave my current school. I love my coworkers and am very glad to be able to still work with all of them. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to teach third grade where there is one less state assessment, but I am grateful to have a position. Typically change is tough for me to handle, but I will have some of my students I have this year. There are a couple students that I would love to work with again because they’ve made great progress this year. The new curriculum will be interesting to learn and I will have a great deal of fun. Let the packing begin!!

It must be a relief to finally get that news. Good luck with fifth grade. Fifth grade at our school is the last grade in the elementary building and then it is on to the middle school. It can be a trying year for them.
